Food always on point!!! Just a tad bit slow, but it's Caribbean so it takes time ‍. I can see why some get frustrated, I'm glad I've been treated well.

Grabbed lunch from Lickle Jamaica. It's a small , no-frills. restaurant with a few tables and chairs for waiting or for eating. (They had Halloween decorations up which were cute.) I was greeted warmly by the young lady at the register. Placed my order and waited inside for it. It only took about 10 mins and everything was hot and fresh. We had the catfish lunch and the chicken wing lunch. The sides were macaroni and cheese, cabbage and rice and peas. The catfish and jerk chicken were tender and very flavorful. But spicy unless you add the jerk sauce. The macaroni and cheese was very good. Very cheesy but not overly cheesy. The cabbage was average. I added a little seasoning to mine. The rice and peas had a little "gravy" on it which made them really good and not dry. Overall the meals were a great choice for lunch. Tasty and filling.

I didn't Know this place existed,I'm Glad it's here ! I've been to Jamaica Twenty Two times .I've had Jerk everything all over the island and all over Chicagoland. The food at this location along with the Jerk sauce is top notch !! People I've met waiting in line drive from all over Chicagoland to get this food . I think that speaks volumes. It's in Maywood on 5th ave . I've seen Panhandlers but most are here for some authentic food . There are tables inside but it's small and I believe most people get takeout. I highly recommend ordering ahead through yelp on grub hub . Or they take phone orders . They packaged my food nicely . Brown chicken stew , jerk Chicken, catfish. And all the sides are what I would describe as " as good as it gets ." This place sells a high volume of food . So sometimes they can run out . I can't see what's going on in the kitchen with plexiglass covering the cashier but chicken is smoked and seasoned to perfection. Jerk sauce is up there with some of the best I've ever had .

Driven past this spot a many days...lol. one of those areas that I keep it moving. HOWEVER, I noticed they have curry goat on the menu. When I got there, let's just say it was unmistakably Jamaican folks in the back cooking. Just by their accent I knew I had chosen a good spot. I ordered the jerk chicken and, of course, the curry goat. Their sizes/portion are huge! I ate for a couple of days! The jerk chicken was great, juicy not dried out. Spices familiar to Jamaican dish. The corn underneath was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed the yams. The curry goat was definitely spot on. Flavor was not missing a beat, again moist, Mac. N cheese was "ok" l. Cabbage was great as well. I will definitely check this spot out again
